Enhancing the Capabilities of Those Who Build with Concrete

The ASCC is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of concrete contractors and those who build with concrete, and to providing them a unified voice in the construction industry. Members include concrete contractors and contracting firms, manufacturers, suppliers and others interested in the concrete industry such as architects, engineers and educators. The ASCC is one of the largest concrete associations with approximately 700 member companies in the United States and abroad.

A Unified Voice for Concrete Contractors & the Concrete Industry

Concrete contracting requires you to make tough technical and business decisions. Membership in the American Society of Concrete Contractors provides the tools to ensure those decisions are the right ones. It connects you to a nationwide network of your peers, professionals and experts who will support you every step of the way. Joining a national concrete association provides you with the support you need to be successful in the concrete industry.

Plus, the credibility of a national organization, made up of the country’s leading concrete contractors, manufacturers and suppliers, elevates you and your industry to a level of recognition and respect that will facilitate your growth in the years ahead.

ASCC members enjoy access to seminars and events that bring together concrete contractors and associated concrete industry personnel to further the concrete industry, improve safety standards, techniques and more. In addition, this concrete association provides access to printed materials, networking and much more for its members.

DCC Community Project
Volunteers from the Decorative Concrete Council (DCC) and the Manufacturer’s Advisory Council (MAC), traveled to Berea, OH October 10 – 14 to install a new patio for the veterans and other residents of Northwest Healthcare Center. The DCC and MAC are specialty councils of the American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC), St. Louis. Jeff Eiswerth, H&C Decorative Concrete Products, Cleveland, OH was the project coordinator for the installation.  The project consisted of patching existing concrete, installing a spray texture concrete overlayment, detail color, and sealer application for a 2000 SF outdoor lounge area.  All manpower and materials were donated by DCC and MAC members.  A flagpole, flag and new planters and patio furniture were donated by ASCC members.

Sometimes we think our challenges are unique to our organization and we have to figure them out on our own. Through ASCC we have learned that this is not the case.  ASCC is full of great contractors that are willing to share ideas freely.
